EXIGENCE Consortium Meeting: A Three-Day Success in Munich

And that’s a wrap for the EXIGENCE Consortium Meeting! After an exhilarating three days hosted at Huawei’s impressive facilities in Munich, Germany, we are feeling energised and inspired by the progress we have made together.

From November 19-21, our agenda was densely packed with insightful workshops designed to enhance our project work packages, and partners wasted no time diving deep into the discussions. Here’s a quick recap of the workshops held during the meeting:

  • Workshop 1: Prioritising use cases and requirements for implementation and validation in WP2, WP3, and T4.1 – led by Ewout Brandsma from TNO.
  • Workshop 2: Mapping functional architecture to selected use cases – led by Ewout Brandsma from TNO.
  • Workshop 3: Identifying information needs by domain experts, addressing relevant domains, and leveraging existing elements for EXIGENCE – led by Daniel Corujo from ITAV.
  • Workshop 4: Detailing the functional architecture, discussing inter-domain proposals, and defining reference points for individual domains (such as 3GPP) – led by Artur Hecker from Huawei.

Alongside these collaborative workshops, we had the opportunity to hear from WP leaders and team as they shared their progress and highlighted significant milestones achieved thus far in our project. A major highlight of our gathering was the dynamic discussions that fostered alignment on our three key project pillars: measurement, integration, and incentivisation. These conversations were essential as we defined the collective process required to reach our project goals.

The collaborative spirit of our meeting exemplified the importance of working together to ensure our project delivers meaningful and responsible outcomes. As we move forward, I’m excited to share that all partners are aligned on the next steps and have a clear vision for our final outcomes.

A heartfelt thank you to Huawei for their gracious hospitality and excellent organisation. The atmosphere they created was conducive to creativity and teamwork. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to everyone who participated and helped make this meeting a resounding success.

As we progress with our work, we are committed to harnessing this momentum and collaboration to drive our project forward. We look forward to continuing this journey together and achieving extraordinary results!

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on the next phase of our project!
