To tackle this challenge, the EXIGENCE Project is proud to introduce the EXIGENCE Environmental Dashboard – a platform designed to monitor CO2 emissions, predict user behaviour, and optimise incentive mechanisms to foster greener digital services without compromising user experience.
From Monitoring to Actionable Insights
Monitoring environmental impact is a critical first step, but real change requires actionable solutions. The EXIGENCE Environmental Dashboard translates complex streaming data into practical strategies through several key features:
- Environmental Leaderboard: Tracks streaming decisions in real time by estimating associated CO2 emissions and translating them into environmental points. It immediately highlights top eco-friendly users and pinpoints where the greatest potential for reduction lies.
- Predictive Analytics: Rather than just reporting past events, the dashboard forecasts how user rankings and environmental performance will evolve under different streaming choices – allowing providers to assess potential environmental gains before implementing changes.
- Interactive What-If Simulations: Enables stakeholders to simulate changes in user streaming behaviour on the fly and immediately visualise the impact on network emissions and overall scores.
- Personalised Incentive Management: Incorporates behavioural modelling to assign targeted rewards where they will have the highest impact. Recognising that some users are driven by eco-awareness while others respond to personal benefits, the platform helps providers optimise their incentive budgets efficiently.
- Strategic Provider Optimisation: Analyses how different incentive budgets correlate with reduced network traffic and emissions, providing a data-driven path toward cost-effective sustainability interventions.
By combining real-time monitoring, predictive modeling, and intelligent incentive strategies, EXIGENCE is helping pave the way toward lower carbon emissions and more energy-efficient network operations.
